Role: Data Analytics Business Partner

Location: Glinton Peterborough 

Industry: Reporting to our Commercial Manager the Data Analytics Business Partner is responsible for the maintenance of the Company’s customer assets managed through the business’ workflow system (simPRO) ensuring that an efficient and effective service can be delivered by the operational teams.

MCS is looking for a Data Analytics Business Partner to join its Peterborough offices, working closely to ensure the information held on our CAFM system is accurate and supporting our Head of Customer Excellence Center to ensure our planning teams and operational departments have the latest information to support delivering our customers objectives.

This role is for someone who has a high-level attention to detail,  who enjoys data analytics.

 

About MCS

McIntyre Compliance Services is a trusted compliance safety company carrying out tests / services to make sure customers properties are safe and meet current legislations. We currently maintain, service and repair over 70000 housing association and local authority properties across the UK.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Management of asset data within the system and ensuring the data is verified and accurate
  • Ensuring process and workflows are accurate and reflect current practices
  • Support managers where current practices are not being maintained
  • Acting as the main point of contact for all simPRO enquiries
  • Delivering training on the usage of simPRO to all those that require access in the business
  • Managing the permissions and ensuring they are reflective of current structures / roles
  • Producing reports as and when required and working with key stakeholders to understand the data extracted from the system
  • Mobilisation and demobilisation of assets for new customers and contracts coming to an end
  • Conducting audits on the system and data that is entered into the system
  • Ensuring that continuous improvement projects are followed through to maximise the functionality of the system
  • To liaise with customers on the usage of the customer portal
  • Monitoring assets life cycle, tracking failure frequencies and cost analysis to identify replacement opportunities
  • Manage change control to reflect changes to Business Processes/ simPRO usage
  • Lead in the attainment of ISO 55001 Asset Management, and associated standards, and continue to drive improvement.
  • Power BI, SQL, inclusive of data warehouse – reporting requirements

  • Basic understanding of SQL, database extraction
  • Understanding of SimPro and data warehouse.
  • Desirable reporting services e.g., Power BI experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task whilst maintaining a high attention to detail

In return for your commitment and expertise, you will get:
