Safety compliance in 2025

As we move into 2025, McIntyre Compliance Services is committed to continuing to support building and life safety for our clients.

2024 culminated in the publication of the final report and recommendations arising from the six-year long Grenfell Tower public enquiry. Alongside the public enquiry as well as the Hackitt review of building regulations and fire safety, a significant programme of regulatory reform emerged, leading to new UK Acts and Regulations for Building Safety, Fire Safety, and Social Housing.

These regulatory changes mandated additional and significant safety inspection and certification responsibilities for social and private housing providers. McIntyre Compliance Services continues to focus upon supporting accountable and responsible persons in property teams across our client sectors - and especially in social housing - to meet, certify, and communicate electrical and fire safety standards across premises.

We continue to prioritise and verify the competency and skills of our operational workforce to deliver safety compliance standards as demanded by UK law, including mandating over 10 hours of continuous professional development per year. We share regulatory update alerts to our operational staff and provide regular H&S knowledge updates across our business in line with our accreditation to ISO 9001 and 14001.

McIntyre Compliance Services in 2025

We look forward to continuing to develop our business in 2025, building on the expansion of our client base during 2024 supporting eight new clients to safely maintain over 70,000 social properties. Underpinning our growth aspirations are key differentiators.

One is our continual focus on professional competency, knowledge and standards. This not only involves our operational workforce, but our leadership team also publish monthly company blogs helping to clarify regulatory compliance issues in life and building safety. We aim to do more in 2025, offering customer-focused knowledge sessions and leading discussions at national safety compliance events.

Our commitment to customer excellence is another differentiator. Our Customer Excellence Centre puts client priorities first with rapid resolution of critical queries, reaching a 98% service level agreement rate. Our Centre also monitors and reports to clients, in real-time, on the delivery rate of planned maintenance services. Proud of these achievements, we aim to continue to focus in 2025 on excellent service delivery, keeping places and people safe.

We want to do more during 2025 to become a more sustainable business and reduce our environmental impact. We look forward to updating our clients and customers as we continue to implement our carbon reduction strategy and invest in technology for remote diagnosis and asset management.
