Long standing supply chain relationship extended
McIntyre Compliance Services (MCS) is proud to announce that a long-standing supply chain contract with Mears Group has been extended for a further year. MCS provides electrical, fire and security compliance and remedial works for more than 11,000 domestic properties.
MCS has proudly been the trusted safety compliance partner for Mears Group’s housing maintenance services for more than 15 years, delivering a competitive, reliable portfolio of planned preventative maintenance and an out-of-hours reactive repair service with a two-hour response time for a diverse range of property types.
MCS is driven by a commitment to ‘get it right first time’ for our partners and clients. We prioritise our highly qualified engineer workforce to ensure that this commitment is reliably delivered, year in and year out. We meet exacting key performance contract measures, including highly positive resident experience and satisfaction scoring.
Nor is our strap line, ‘safe places, safe people’, empty rhetoric. We are fundamentally committed to maintaining life safety. When in summer 2021 torrential rain and flash flooding hit Cambridgeshire and Eastern England, social housing residents were in desperate need of out-of-hours emergency support.
MCS ensured that broader engineering support drawn from nearby areas was immediately available for emergency callouts. Our staff also gave up their personal time to support residents, working to resolve not just live electrical issues and power loss, but repairing leaking roofs, filling sandbags, and clearing flood-damaged belongings.
Graeme Taylor, CEO of McIntyre Compliance Services, comments: “I’m proud of the commitment and hard work consistently delivered by our people for Mears Group. Our contractual and commercial relationships are solidly based on partnership working, and we look forward to continuing to work effectively with Mears Group to deliver value”.
